How I treat my students
I consider that the most important aspect of teaching maths is actually to reveal the beauty and the clarity of the matter when valuing the study speed of an individual student. I believe in trusting in every child, that each one carries the potential to do and realise the mathematics introduced to that person. I believe that the goal of teaching is to provide each student with abilities and common sense to succeed and work in society. As a result of this, I want to deal with my scholars respectfully and to be as assistant as possible in the learning process whilst stimulating them to detect new ways of thinking and fresh ideas and standards. I will definitely follow every specific student's needs within reason of things that is possible and what solutions are there in the class. I will expect to put in as much or more time and effort as I expect from my scholars. I will acknowledge that I get as much to uncover yearly as my students, and I will be adaptable enough to receive critique and open to new ways of teaching in an attempt to reach all learning styles.
My role in tutoring
I view my function at this stage as an authority figure, far likewise their real school teachers are, but also as a new supplier of support and assistance. My duty is that of a guide due to the fact that I don't teach the whole day day of courses as my master teacher does, hence I will be a source the scholars can use to obtain extra help or can rely on for support. My role is also that of a scholar, so I see myself as a prolongation of my students, I am definitely learning through them what it means to be an efficient mathematics teacher.
No extra worksheets
In contrast to lots of tutoring companies in Marsfield, throughout the regular school year, I actually work with the information that the student has in his/her class. This means I don't require that children do extra worksheets and assignments that are not really part of the learner's maths course, but instead, I train the child in areas of his/her maths course that may be complicated such as clarity and depth of understanding, applying of topics, and test-taking strategies. Everything I do is related directly to assisting the scholar to better realise the material from the mathematics program that she/he is taking and to enhance the grade in that class.
